The Boone County HarvestFest in northern Illinois has activities taking place along the Kishwaukee Riverfront Path from the Lincoln Avenue side in Belvidere Park, through Belvidere Park in and surrounding the historic Baltic Mill all day and into the evening!

Coming from Rockford on State Street (Business Route 20):
Turn right on Appleton Road, turn left on Lincoln Avenue (St. James' Catholic Cemetery and VFW on your right at the intersection of Lincoln and Appleton), turn right into the park entrance after the Grady Pool. Follow signs indicating parking areas near the festivities at Belvidere Park.

Coming from Rockford on Route 20:
Take the exit for Appleton Road, turn right (north) off of the exit onto Appleton Road, cross the railroad tracks and Newburg Road intersection, cross over the Kishwaukee River at Belvidere Park and turn right onto Lincoln Avenue (St. James' Catholic Cemetery and VFW on your left at the intersection of Lincoln and Appleton), turn right into the park entrance after the Grady Pool. Follow signs indicating parking areas near the festivities at Belvidere Park.

Coming from I-90 (either direction):
Exit at Genoa Road (North), turn right off exit onto Genoa Road, turn left on Route 20 (Wal-Mart and Starbucks are on the right at the intersection of Genoa Road and Route 20), drive west on Route 20 and take the Appleton exit, turn right (north) off of the exit onto Apple Road, cross the railroad tracks and Newburg Road intersection, cross over the Kishwaukee River at Belvidere Park and turn right onto Lincoln Avenue (St. James' Catholic Cemetery and VFW on your left at the intersection of Lincoln and Appleton), turn right into the park entrance after the Grady Pool. Follow signs indicating parking areas near the festivities at Belvidere Park.

If there is limited parking along Lincoln, you may wish to park in the Boone County Conservation District, making use of the path to get to the festival grounds in Belvidere Park. Follow directions above, but do not turn on Lincoln. Proceed on Appleton northbound.  You will see the Conservation District on the left after the cemetery, follow signs indicating parking areas near the festivities in the Conservation District.
